Welcome to the City of Freeland. What began just over a century ago as a small campsite by some adventurous but tired tourists from a distant place known as Stickworld, is now a thriving metropolis with just over half a million residents and still many thousands more who settled in areas which developed outside of the city limits.
(Southwest Freeland, Freeland Village, Free Rivers and Free Lake). The greater Freeland Area
has a diverse population and as such has a wide range of neighborhoods in which to live
and work. From the working class streets of Macadam to the upscale avenues of
Sawmill Park, Freeland is truly a cultural and economic melting pot.
Our growing Chamber of Commerce is known throughout the
SimWorld for its resourceful businesses and the talented,
caring people that run them. But Freeland is not just
a great place to work in or call home - what was
founded by tourists, today caters to tourists
like no other with its year-round calendar
of special events, fun-filled attractions
and museums, unusual landmarks,
lush park areas, renowned
restaurants and world
class hotels:
